The De Jimbe album was recorded and mastered over 15 days at Richmond Studios in May/June 2001. The seven players played live all at once - Padraic and Muireann playing pipes & flute in the control room with headphones, 3 percussionists, Brian F, Bisi, and Hugh, in the live room; with Brian O' (bass) DI'd. Guest acoustic guitarist Tony was relegated to the hall way. The other guest musicians were overdubbed separately.
